“Pathfinders” were dropped in ahead of the main force to illuminate the drop zone in night drops.
These patches were NOT worn on Jump Jackets or field uniforms! These are for Service Coats or Ike Jackets only. (“Class A’s”)
Worn on the lower left sleeve above any hash marks. (There is no specific measurement in the regulation.)
